Gregory is nationally certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB), and is a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association. He is also a nationally certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). He practices Orthopedic Manual Therapy, a multi modality approach to pain Management through assessment, massage/bodywork, personal training and structural correction.
The modalities he incorporates are Therapeutic Massage, Active Isolated Stretching, Neurostretch(fascial stretching) and NASM modeled personal training and corrective exercise. Gregory’s focus in sessions is immediate pain relief, along with educating the client on their own posture and structural awareness. He provides personal training as well as stretching prescriptions so the client can stay out of chronic pain and/or improve their athletic performance through self-care. He has worked at the Boston Marathon, the United States Masters Indoor track meet as well as several running events and triathalons in Se Asia doing massage and stretching. He counts many athletes as his regular clients including marathon runners, martial artists, yoga insturctors, personal trainers, professional dancers and professional muscians. He has helped many clients with Sciatica, tennis/golfers elbow, carpal tunnel, plantar fascitis, ITB problems as well as stress reduction.
Gregory attended the Massage Institute of New England (MINE), where he studied Swedish massage, Deep Tissue, and Thai yoga bodywork. Always adding to his “toolbox”, he has advanced training in Orthopedic Massage. Active Isolated Stretching and Neurofascial Therapy.
Gregory enjoys all aspects of physical fitness and enjoys martial arts, biking and salsa dancing. He wants to add more stamps to his passport, and is an amateur digital photographer.
